Tips on Saving Your Trophy for Mounting
Wrap your trophy whole (do not gut it) in layers of newspaper, put it in a plastic bag, roll it up tightly (but DO NOT seal the bag) and put it on a flat surface in the freezer.  NEVER wrap fish in aluminum foil or waxpaper.   If you want a fiberglass reproduction, take several good color photographs of your trophy as soon as possible so that you can send them to me, and I can then reproduce it as closely as possible to the way it looked when you caught it.
Wrap the specimen in loose layers of newspaper, put it in a plastic bag, seal the bag, and put it in the freezer.
Place the specimen in a plastic container with a lid and put it in the freezer.
After the animal is caped (e.g., for deer, etc.), put it in a plastic bag and freeze it.  Small animals can be placed whole in a double plastic bag and then put in the freezer.
